Wow, I didn’t see that coming, I’ve won a few medals during my years of playing squash, but this is the first time for golf, very pleased. I certainly agree with everyone, it is a great course, I’ve never played so many dog legs in one round. I look forward to playing a round there during drier weather conditions again next year.

A couple of the greens felt strange underfoot due to the previous wet weather. The hardest challenge was due to the hill after par 3, I should have asked Trevor if I could have hitched a ride on the back of his buggy!

Thanks to my team, Paul, Steven and Trevor for their patience, (I’m still learning!). I must say I was very impressed with their striking skills, something I need to work on for the future
